This is our final post taking a look back at the story of Traditional Kustoms Magazine.
It’s not easy bringing things to a close, but we knew it was time to face the inevitable. Unfortunately, even with the massive amount of outpouring and support we just couldn’t convert that into something sustainable for the long haul. We’re proud of what we did and gave it our very best while it lasted.
We almost didn’t print issue #10. However, there were too many stories we didn’t want to leave sitting on the desk so we made a push and printed a limited run as soon as we could.
Issue #10 Highlights
Andy Southard Jr
Thanks to Ki Hansen, Andy and Patty Southard were gracious enough to invite us into their home for an afternoon interview and photo session. It was a true honor to be able to sit down with Andy to get his thoughts on kustoms in the ’50s and ’60s. Andy was also a huge source of inspiration for the style of shooting we did with the mag.
Just before the curtain closes, we want to say thank you. We can’t say enough good things about our fans and are deeply grateful for all your support and kindness over these past few years.
Here are some of the comments we’ve received from you since announcing our shutdown…
